“ I watched your instructional video and took off to my project. The flamed stripes I bought for my boat. First side went with out a hitch....looked great I got all the bubbles out too. Then there was the other side. Now I want to say first that I cleaned with mineral spirits and soap and water, then dried. I used the wet method like before three drops of dawn/water in a clean spray bottle. I had the decal right where I wanted it and the stripes would not peel off the backing. I waited 10 minutes and longer, but it got worst. "I mean I squeegied it back down and waited. It would try to stay on the boat but it was hard to pull the backing off". I ended up pulling everything off...but the colors and detail were perfect, I just have to try again. look for my next order...a simple stripe.” |
